ESF Capital recognises the importance of good corporate governance and is committed to the highest standards.

The firms GP is responsible for the company’s overall corporate governance including adopting appropriate policies and procedures to ensure the company’s objectives are met and to optimize the firm’s overall performance. 

 

A framework for managing the company has been set out by the leadership team, including adopting relevant internal controls and risk management processes which it believes are appropriate for the effective running of ESF Capital. Our system of corporate governance is designed to promote fairness, transparency and accountability.

 

The GP’s role and responsibilities, as set out in its charter, include:

  • Take and fulfil an effective leadership role in relation to the company.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of an appropriate strategy for the company.

  • Oversee the company’s control and accountability systems

  • Fund diversity and culture

  • Support generational wealth development

  • Review and oversee the operation of systems of risk management and internal compliance and control.

  • Succession planning

 

ESF Capital’s governance includes key features and practices that are reviewed regularly and upgraded or changed as appropriate to reflect our interests, changes in law and what is generally regarded as sound practice.
